WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
maxi skirt (ours was vintage for only $6.99!)
scissors
optional: no fray glue (to hem edges)
// STEP ONE //
Lay out your maxi skirt so that the side nearest you is the middle of the front
of the skirt
// STEP TWO //
If you have another high-low skirt you like,
go ahead and use that as a template.
If not, just eye ball it.
You want the cut to start high and curve downwards at the back
(well, duh marje...it's a high-low skirt!)
// STEP THREE + FOUR //
Trim away! Leave a few inches at first,
try the skirt on, and slowly trim more until you get to the length you want.
// STEP FIVE //
Depending on the type of fabric you have,
you can add no fray-glue, or any strong fabric glue, to the edges of the hem
so they don't fray over time
That's it! Try it out and let us know what you think!
