// STEP ONE + TWO //

cut the potatoes in half, then carve whatever shape you want pressed onto your shirt 

(we chose triangles)

// STEP THREE //

dip the potatoes in the fabric paint , or use a paint brush to apply the paint to the potato stamp, 

and press where ever you'd like on your shirt.

// STEP FOUR //

wait at least 15-30 minutes for the paint to dry before wearing your shirt, and then viola! 

your own graphic tee!

// SUGGESTIONS //

-use different colors and shapes to create your own unique pattern. 

-if the shirt is brand new, we suggest washing it first in case it shrinks or the colors bleed

-try this method on other types of items like canvas backpacks, shorts, and pencil cases! use your imagination!

// STEP ONE //

mark on your t-shirt the highest you want the fringe to go.

we first put the shirt on and then added colored tape around

this point.

// STEP TWO //

start off by cutting the shirt into big sections

(we did four across the front + back)

// STEP THREE //

then begin to cut each large section into smaller ones

until you reach your heart's content!

// STEP FOUR //

slide into some high waisted jeans and low cut boots,

don your newly made fringe tee and storm the streets!

// SUGGESTIONS //

use t-shirts that have a graphic design on them!

add knots to the bottom of some fringe pieces,

you can also add beads!
