DIY FUN // THE EASY-PEASY DUCT TAPE IPAD CASE

STEP BY STEP PICTORIAL:

// STEP ONE //

outline your ipad or tablet on the inside of the bubble mailer
(with flap opening facing up towards you)

// STEP TWO //

begin on the longest side of the line you drew, cut open ONLY the top piece of the mailer,
 and cut as far away from the line to be safe

// STEP THREE //

once you've safely cut only this top part, continue trimming closer to the line
where you are sure your tablet will fit width wise

// STEP FOUR //

make a small snip at the left side of the top portion of the mailer
where the opening of the mailer and your dotted line meet.
this flap you create will need to be folded inwards

// STEP FIVE //

fold the top flap you just created inwards and tape.
your mailer should look like this after wards

// STEP SIX //

fold the longer side of the mailer over and tape
so that its snug around your tablet

// STEP SEVEN //

peel off your first duct tape sheet that will be your main color

// STEP EIGHT //

wrap your bubble mailer with the duct tape.
two sheets of the duct tape color were need (one for each side)

// STEP NINE  + TEN //

now cover your flap with a second color (neon pink)
we cut the duct sheet paper in thirds,
and just used two pieces for front and back

// STEP ELEVEN //

for the small part of bubble mailer showing on the inside,
put a think stripe of a third duct tape color (silver)

and that's it!

// HINTS + TIPS //

we bought our duct tape sheets for $1.49 each at Joann's,
they come in numerous colors, and they are great for
projects like these!
